This week marks the beginning of the official NCAA Division 1 fall signing period and Lansing's standout Adele Ferris took full advantage of by accepting an offer to swim at St. Bonaventure University in a signing ceremony in the Lansing High School Gym. With a gathering of school officials, students, teammates, friends and family in attendance, Lansing Athletic Director Adam Heck welcomed everyone to the "very special and momentous occasion".
Heck expressed the pride that Lansing had in Ferris and told her how she should be proud of herself for all the hard work she had put into her career to get to this point.
