BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Bloomsburg University junior Jocelyn Ford (Lansing, NY/Lansing) has earned Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week honors after playing a key role in helping the Huskies clinch the PSAC East regular season title this week.Ford posted a tremendous showing during last Wednesday's 66-58 win vs. West Chester in a victory that essentially clinched the No. 1 seed in the East for the Huskies as they leapfrogged WCU at the top of the division. The Lansing, N.Y. native packed the stat sheet by finishing with 17 points, eight rebounds, six assists and a block and also turned in crucial plays down the stretch. Her jumper in the paint as the shot clock expired gave the Huskies a 61-54 lead with 2:12 to play and was a key moment in BU holding off a Golden Rams rally attempt. She then put the game on ice with a pair of free throws with 10 seconds remaining.
