The Lansing tennis team brought it's six participants into the West Sectionals at Southern Cayuga with the hope of advancing to the East/West playoff and bringing back the Sectionals title. With no team title competed for in NY State High School Tennis the Sectionals title is the crowning achievement for any tennis team in NY State. In addition to the Sectionals crown players individual seasons are at stake as they either move on to the East/West playoffs in the single elimination tournament or their season comes to an abrupt end. Each team is allowed four entrants- two singles players and two doubles teams.
