The Lansing Girls Soccer team made it known early in their game on Wednesday versus Marathon that they would earn their spot again this year in the Class C Sectional Finals. Only sixteen seconds into the game, Senior defender-turned-striker Maddie Czymmek put the ball in the net to give Lansing a quick lead. Senior Reilly Zajac would follow with another goal only a few minutes later.Czymmek, who was moved to striker only a few games ago, would hit another shot assisted by Senior Megan Dean less than ten minutes later, bringing the LadyCats to an early 3-0 lead. Marathon Senior Ashley Bush would put Marathon on the board shortly after Czymmek's second goal.
