The Lansing Ladycats celebrated Senior Night October 8th with a victory over Watkins Glen, maintaining their undefeated position in their league, and bringing their overall record to 10-2-1.Senior Midfielder, Reilly Zajac, started the night off with a goal only minutes into the game with an assist by Freshman Liz Barre. Five minutes into the game Junior Megan Dean received a pass from Junior Emma Dhmitri and sent the ball into the net, bringing the score to 2-0.
Sophomore Kassie Riemer maintained the scoring streak less than a minute later with an assist from Zajac. Watkins Glen couldn't gain possession of the ball in the first half, as the Lady Cats dominated offensively. In the 12th minute of the game, Riemer took the ball on a break away and defeated the Watkins Glen keeper with her skilled footwork, tapping the ball into the net and bringing the score to 4-0.
